Western society has become a pre-dystopia. The downward death spiral of the dream of democracy, has dealt a lasting blow to hope for progress and the public’s faith in government. This spells doom for those who can accept the truth.

It wasn’t always like this. Society has always had problems, but there were little hints at what not to do. To look up instead of refusing to look up. We’ve had many warnings of what to do and not to do in books and movies; art and music.

Nevertheless, our western society has not addressed the endless reminders of where we’ve gone wrong. History tells us, and we have put our collective fingers in our ears and yelled, “lalalalalalalalaalalalalalalalaaallaalalalal” until history stopped speaking to us altogether.
